Lily Jarman-Reisch’s poems appear or are forthcoming in Amsterdam Quarterly, CALYX, Collateral, Fourth River, Journal of Veterans Studies, Mediterranean Poetry, Mobius, New York Quarterly, One, ONE ART, Pangyrus, Plainsongs, Pushcart Prize XLVIII (48th edition, 2024) , Rise Up Review, Route 7 Review, San Pedro River Review, Slant Poetry, The Military Review, among others. A 2024 Pushcart Prize recipient, she is a poetry reader for The Los Angeles Review and Contributing Editor for Pushcart Prize XLIX (49th edition, 2025). She was a journalist in Washington, D.C., and Athens, Greece, where she lived aboard a small boat she sailed throughout the Aegean and Ionian. She has held administrative and teaching positions at the Universities of Michigan and Maryland, and sailed across the Atlantic (from Spain to the West Indies). She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and has advanced degrees from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
